1 Timothy 4:8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
How will you say you are Godly inside and your dressing speaks ungodliness?
When we say seek God in your dressing, it means you want to be Intentional about what you wear or stock your wardrobe with.
You are not wearing anything that will reveal any PART of your private parts.
It means your first thought on dressing is to please God by covering up, by making sure you are representing the image of GOD that you are.
Don’t ever think it doesn’t matter whether you are well covered or not and that what it’s in your heart is what matters.
Can you drink clean water from a cup that is dirty on the outside? Your body represents the cup and first impression goes a long way friends.
Always appear like a child of God and not the child of the devil or an harlot, remember your heart can not be cut open before knowing what’s on the inside. Your appearance has a lot to say about you!
Appear the way you want to be addressed. If you appear like an harlot that is coming from the church, then don’t get angry if you are given such treatment. You are the epistle the world is reading, let people know who you are , starting from the outside.
