CLOTHES
The dictionary defines clothes as items used to cover the body. We can simply say clothes are for general coverings . Why i use the word general is because clothes are used as bedsheets, curtains and other things.
We can actually see how important clothes are because God was the first to makes clothes in the bible out of animal skin. Gen.3:21
WHY DO WE NEED CLOTHES?
1. To cover anything naked. It’s a way of protecting anything private. E.g the curtains are for covering the privacy of our rooms, bedsheets are to cover the beds and garments are to cover our private parts.
2. To protect our bodies from cold and unwanted sicknesses
3. For glory and beauty exodus 28:2.
Note that the way you are dressed is the way you will be addressed.
The glory and beauty of the flowers are revealed because of the beautiful coverings in form of petals, Without the petals their beauty is not yet revealed. You are more precious than the flowers you know.
In conclusion, everyone needs proper clothings to coverup. If an ordinary bed(mattress) is being covered ,what about you that is fearfully and wonderfully made and more precious than the bed. Remember your dressing should be for glory and beauty. Anything short of that is not appropriate.
when I say appropriate, it means no part of your private parts should be seen out.
