You are a child of God, that’s what you claim. But where is God in your appearance?
A child of a lion will look like a lion, a child of the devil will will take his or her look after the devil and Child of God must take his or her look from God. If you say you are a child of God, why does your look takes after the devil?
So much is happening now in the world, we have to be sensitive that the world has actually find it’s way inside the church and will keep entering by saying our appearance doesn’t matter but the heart. That is the tactics the devil is using and we keep changing our ways of dressing to soothe that of the world and the devil.
No matter how pure your heart is , as long as your dressing makes your neighbour to sin , you are automatically guilty. Because the Bible already says if eating meat will make someone else to fall , then it’s better you don’t eat meat. If your look will make your neighbour to fall , then don’t dress that way. It’s not only in adultery and fornication but your dressing can make people to gossip and make other people to say if my Pastor’s will can dress that way, I also can dress that way too. You might not have any bad motive in dressing that way, you might say you are making yourself feel good, but others copying you might have a negative motives.
Remember what ever you do is not just to make yourself feel good, but how does it make God feel? Or how does it make your neighbours feel. You are not here in the world for yourself but to give God pleasure and by so doing you are leading as much as possible to heaven and not hell.
