Philippians 4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
There should be moderation everything we do. When we say moderation, it means we don’t have to do things in excess. Let us try to keep it simple.
Since our discussions are mainly on dressing, I will like us to talk about moderation in our dressing.
Your clothes does not have to be lousy before you appear beautiful.
I keep wondering whether some of us don’t check the mirrors to access our looks after dressing up, how can someone finished dressing and that person is actually looking like a Jezebel.
You paint your face in various colours, when you are not a car that is about to be panel beaten. Friends, where is the moderation in that?
You attached extra nails 💅 and put different colours on them when you are not a clown. Please where is your moderation?
You fixed extra eye lashes ,are you trying to tell God that HE didn’t create you well enough?
God gave you black hair, you went ahead to attach colours purple, pink, red ,gold etc. When you are not a piece of furniture!
We are not even stopping at turning ourselves to Jezebels ,we are now extending to the little Angels tha God put in our care. We apply makeups , different hair colours on them.God has made us caretakers over them.
Let’s sit and think about all this. You have been fearfully and wonderfully made by God, you don’t need any of this things in excess. Do you know why God gave you short eyelashes, black hair, short nails or the body colour he has given you.Let us adopt moderation in our dressings.
All you need is to bring our the beauty in what God has made you to be and not covering your God given beauty with essessive makeups that will eventually make you look like someone else or masquerade.
